Hello,

I've been trying to resolve this for a while now without finding any solution from the seller. I tried to contact Z3X team but had no answer at the time.

I bought an Easy Jtag Plus a few years ago and it was delivered with the connection port reversed. Obviously, it has been a quite of a problem. Seller asked me to cut the keyed plastic on the NAND adapter but it didn't resolve the situation so I haven't used the box for the need.

What I did get

HOw it should be

I was able to replace it with other tools so far but I'd really like to use it for some of the unique features.

Could you please come back to me (that time) in order to help to resolve this situation ?

Thanks

Common “Can’t init device” Errors: Causes & Fixes

  • CMD Timeout Error
❗ Ensure the CMD (or CLK) line isn’t loose or shorted, and the eMMC chip is functioning properly gb telegram mod

  • OCR Ready Timeout (eMMC Dead)
⚡ Check VCC (usually 3.3 V) connection integrity—if not feeding correctly, the eMMC may appear dead

  • PORT Read Error
Confirm DAT0 line is well connected and free from shorts

  • Additional Troubleshooting Tips

  • Use ISP Adapter: Ensure you're using the dedicated ISP adapter included with Easy JTAG Plus; add-on resistors aren’t needed

  • Check Internal Hardware: Faulty onboard components (like resistors R7/R8 or poor solder joints on microcontroller U3) can disrupt communication—inspect with a multimeter

  • Power Source: Some setups (e.g., for Samsung phones) require powering CLK via data lines (DATA1/2/3), not CMD or DAT0

  • USB & Grounding: Ensure strong GND connection and consider using USB as VCC/VCCQ if external power fails

Hello,

I'm not sure that this will help with the defective product... Is there a way to have the card replaced ?
