1. Reflash the Stock Firmware

  • Ensure that the device is running the official stock firmware for your region.
  • Sometimes, custom ROMs or corrupt system files can cause issues with IMEI.
  • Use Odin to reflash the latest firmware for your model.

2. Check CSC (Country Specific Code)

  • The log indicates the CSC code as TPA (Panama).
  • Ensure that the CSC is correct for the region you are using the device in, as an incorrect CSC can lead to IMEI-related issues.
  • You may need to reset the CSC using Z3X or SamKey if it's not matching.

3. Repair IMEI via Z3X Tool

  • Go through the Repair IMEI process again.
  • Ensure that the correct PDA version and Baseband are selected.
  • After repairing, restart the device and check the IMEI status.

4. Patch Cert File

  • If the IMEI is still showing "NG," you may need to patch the CERT file.
  • This can usually be done using Z3X or Chimera Tool.
  • Make sure you have the correct certificate file for your device, as mismatching or corrupt CERT files can lead to errors.

5. Downgrade Firmware

  • Some newer firmware versions, particularly Android 10 and above, have stricter security policies that can prevent IMEI modification.
  • Consider downgrading to a lower version (such as Android 9), performing the IMEI repair, and then updating back to the desired version.

6. Check for Hardware Issues

  • If all software solutions fail, the issue might be hardware-related.
  • Ensure the baseband is not corrupted, and there are no physical issues with the modem chip.
