z3x IMEI repair on Samsung note9 SM-N960u DOESN'T WORK!

I am going thru a very frustating situation here whith this box. we are a repair cellphone business and are considering to start offering IMEI repair on samsung note9 sm-sn960u but... after following EVERYTHING nothing happens. IMEI is enabled on settings and yet... we can't seem to repair the IMEI for a cellphone! we tried changing firmware for the correct one and nothing!

we purchased (a week ago) this box pro to be able to offer IMEI repair and nothing... the customer erased the IMEI for this phone and we have to original IMEI# to put it back again but... we just can't! this tool pro is not allowing. can't root either because OEM is not enabled. software update is not registering device, etc.

PLEASE... help us, somebody please! we really need some advise here. Thank you!

I am an unlocker as well so i deemed it wise to respond to your questions with the little experience i have on samsung,

as always it totally with your own risk.

1st you need to carefully write down your phone's baseband and search for the combination files that mactches the binary version of your phone.

2nd flash the phone wiith the combination file and you may be able to write back the imei. z3x is great as they offer almost all combination files.

3rd If the above doesnt work, you should consider downgrading the phone using the baseband to search for exact flash files on https://updato.com/

You have not correctly answered his quest, imei repair for N960U is not supported with z3x box at the moment.  That device is a qualcomm device, and hence would require professional service to replace imei. You need to ask your client what happened before imei got damaged, if it was naturally damaged by wrongly flashing an incompatible modem on device, then there are 100% chances of getting device original imei back, if you can root and follow certain procedures i won't be able to list here.

ooh, ok.

i asked our customer and he said he used a program called 'combination' and he removed the imei by accident. so he said he tried to put it back and couldn't find anywhere inside the 'combination' program to do so. that's how he did it.

i tried to find the 'help an request section' is that under 'categories--samsung tool' or where? i can't find it. thank you all for your advice.

Any Updates on N960u imei repair from z3x or any other box like z3x... or cheaper online service then $80 its cheapest I found... but how can they do it yet our box cant...
