Did you purchase the Easy JTAG box from an official representative or from some person?
If you bought it from a person, then most likely you were sold an old box. After an update in 2018, users bought new versions of the box and transferred their cards with activation there. Maybe the seller did not warn you and saved the updated box along with the card for himself. Also, the activation with the old box makes no sense.
First, you need to know about the old Easy JTAG box. IC inside your box is an old IC that prepared for JTAG communication in that time, few years after Easy JTAG give you software update, but... use this old Easy JTAG you can do EMMC 1bit communication trough data0 only. So from 2018 Easy JTAG published new hardware its mean use new IC inside the box ( use XILINX SPARTAN XC6SLX4 ) that have more I/O inside of it, this is why the new box ( called Easy JTAG plus ) can support EMMC in 8-bit communication, can support UFS communication, can support NAND communication ( some apple device flash memory use NAND 32bit and 64 bit after it uses PCI-E ).
Unfortunately, Easy JTAG Plus activation is not sold separately. The only possibility is to transfer it from another (old or damaged) card. You need to buy an updated box with a smartcard included.
